Sue Murie serves as a Leadership Coach in the Sorensen Center for Moral and Ethical Leadership. She is really thrilled to be part of the Sorensen Center team and excited for the opportunity to coach students using the Christ-Centered Leader Model. Sue feels that her life purpose is to build, lift, and encourage others (and herself). Her Personal Mission Statement comes from a quote by Mother Teresa “Do small things with great love.” Sue received bachelors and masters degrees in accounting from SUU and was a CPA for 8 years. She taught courses at SUU and UVU before coming to work at BYU 15 years ago.
Sue grew up in Washington (state) and she now resides in Lehi, Utah. She has three children, one grandson, and three dogs. Her hobbies are baking sourdough bread, running with friends, and going on road trips in her Mini Cooper.
