Leadership Courses

The Sorensen Center will offer a growing slate of courses to inspire and equip students to become Christ-centered leaders. These courses are available to students from any major or college across campus and are designed to help students increase their moral and ethical influence in families, congregations, communities, organizations, and society.

Taking these courses provides students the opportunity to reflect deeply about their values and commitment to Christlike influence on the world around them. The courses will equip students with skills to help them lead others morally and ethically, whether in small or large ways.

LEADERSHIP COACHING

ST DEV 214 R SECTION 002

This course is primarily designed for students to become trained leadership coaches. They will develop an increased knowledge of leadership coaching fundamentals, essential coaching skills, and an ability to facilitate student peer growth. This course will help students prepare to elevate those they work with and help them take more ownership of their commitments and achieve their goals.

FINDING YOUR UNIQUE IMPACT

 This course guides you in discovering your divine gifts, core values, and life purpose in order to identify the impact you are uniquely positioned to make in the world.
Drawing from historical, spiritual psychological, and leadership-based frameworks, you will explore the concept of calling through a Christ-centered lens, culminating in a personal portfolio designed to help you lead with integrity and influence in your selected area of social impact.
