The Sorensen Center for Moral & Ethical Leadership had the opportunity to co-host the first ever BYU MBA Case Competition. MBA student teams from twelve universities were presented with a situation asking for new ideas when confronting religious suppression as well as the benefits of faith in the workplace.
Students also had the opportunity to recruit and network with various sponsors including American Airlines and Equinex. Cash prizes were at stake featuring $5000 for the first place (BYU), $3000 for second (Northwestern), $2000 (Baylor) for third place.
At the conclusion of the conference, all teams were able to explore the wonders of Utah skiing and snowboarding at Sundance Mountain resort. Students and faculty described the event as a "demonstrate of hope for the future" and "the groundwork for better inclusion in the workplace."
