Michael loves the mission of the center and is super excited to help others to come closer to Jesus Christ through meaningful leadership opportunities and experiences. Michael graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Experience Design and Management in 2021 and later received his master’s degree in public service and administration (MPSA) from Texas A&M University in May of 2023, before starting at the Sorensen Center later that month. Michael has experience working in nonprofit/NGO management, Parks and Recreation, board leadership, youth development programming, event design and coordination, fundraising and sales, hospitality/tourism, customer service, research, and the Italian language.
Michael grew up in both Idaho Falls, Idaho and Lubbock, Texas. He has 10 siblings (2 biological and 8 step siblings). Some of his hobbies include going to events, traveling, learning about and experiencing different cultures, running, dancing, skiing, and watching feel good sports or Marvel movies and reality TV shows like Survivor and America’s Got Talent.
