Barry's calling in life is to help people be true. He believes that we are all spiritually related to each other and that essence is what he seeks to see and help you see—and be. Growing people, especially at work, has been part of his career as an executive coach, internal and external consultant, author, speaker, and HR Executive. Barry's corporate career began in fast-growing technology companies and moved into the people development industry. His education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development/Organizational Communications from BYU and a Master’s in Labor & Human Resources from the Ohio State University along with many books read, learning program certifications, and decades of journaling.
Barry was born in Southern California and was raised further north in Paradise, California, a town that became unfortunately famous when it burned in November 2018. Barry and his wife, Lorilee Coffey, have been married for over 40 years and have 6 children, 5 daughters-in-law, and 11 grandchildren. He enjoys music, reading, writing, being a Francophone, the American West, and the color green.
